I wish I never gave up dreaming
 I wish reality didn't hit so soon
 Didn't weasel it's way through my innocence
 Didn't corrupt my future 
It's harmful, reality
 Shatters any ounce of hope one may have about tomorrow 
 It takes away all spontaneity and surprise 
Replacing it with a bunch of predictable ordinaries 
 We've kind of ruined ourselves with this reality
 I really wish it never happened
So I could still be a dreamer
